Shipping Rates and Policies

Shipping Policy

The following policies apply to all customers and orders placed with Pitch Our Tents. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

SHIPPING

As the customer, you may choose the delivery route (ground, 1-day air, 2-3 day priority) but we will choose the carrier. Orders placed before 1:00pm MST will be shipped same day. We deliver to the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii, no international shipping. A tracking number will be assigned and included on your receipt to track your order. Ground shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Express shipments (1-day air, 2-3 day priority) are available at an additional cost which will be added to your final invoice amount. Please contact us for estimated pricing for express delivery. Orders with multiple items or oversized items may also require additional fees. All additional fees will be communicated to customer for approval prior to shipment.

SHIPPING DISCREPANCIES

All shipping discrepancies must be reported via email or phone within 5 days of receipt of merchandise. Discrepancies reported after 5 days will not be considered.

BACKORDERS

All in-stock items are shipped at time of order; out-of-stock items will be placed on backorder and customer will be notified. All backorder items will be shipped at the time the product becomes available. If backorder period exceeds 30 days, Pitch Our Tents will notify customer prior to shipment release. In the event of partial shipment, each shipment will be billed separately. Backorders are shipped at prices in effect when the item was ordered.

RETURN POLICY

Customers wishing to return merchandise to Pitch Our Tents must first contact us and obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. RA numbers are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, and must be obtained within 30 days of ship date. Returns will be handled according to the following schedule:

** Pitch Our Tents reserves the right to evaluate product return conditions and assess restocking fees at its own discretion. **

After 30 days, please send all warranty returns to the manufacturer by following warranty instructions included with the product. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. Warranty or defective products may take up to 10-15 business days for replacement.

 

Defective products are eligible for credit or replacement within 30 days of invoice date. Replacements will be shipped upon receipt of defective merchandise via ground shipment at Pitch Our Tent's expense, unless customer requests an upgrade at their expense. Advance replacements are available, but must be paid for at the time replacement ships. All returns should be sent prepaid shipping to 2490 South 1350 West Nibley, UT 84321. Return shipping on defective merchandise may be reimbursed up to the original shipping cost of the item. Packages must have RA number written visibly on shipping box with a brief description of the product defect inside. All items must be returned in the original packaging. Pitch Our Tents is not responsible for any item not received at its warehouse. Allow 7-10 business days for processing returns.

CANCELLATION

All orders (including backorders) may be cancelled with no additional fee prior to shipping. Orders are shipped when shipping labels and tracking numbers have been generated (by 11:00 am the day of shipping). Cancellations may be made by email or phone. If order has been shipped it may be returned following the RA guidelines listed above.

PAYMENT POLICY

We currently only accept Visa/MasterCard cards issued by U.S. and Canadian banks.
Debit cards (also called check cards, ATM cards or banking cards) which display a Visa or MasterCard logo on the front.
All orders must be paid for at time of purchase.

We're sorry, but at this time we do not ship internationally. We DO NOT accept credit cards issued by foreign (non-U.S./Canadian) banks.

All prices, products, and information is correct as of 9/20/2009 but are subject to change without notice.
